How long does a wedding band play?

Most perform two or three sets across the evening, with recorded music or a DJ filling the breaks. Confirm total playing time and finish time, as some venues have a noise curfew.

Can the band play our first dance?

Usually yes — most bands will learn a reasonable request with enough notice. Send the song early so they have time to rehearse it.

What do bands need from the venue?

Adequate space, power and access for equipment, and sometimes a meal and changing area. Share your venue details early so the band can confirm the setup works.

Should we have both a band and a DJ?

Many couples do — the band brings the live energy and the DJ keeps continuous music through breaks and into the late-night party. Some bands include a DJ service in their package.
